For nearly 40 years, The Means Team has been serving others — not just in real estate, but in life! Steve and Karen Means have built a legacy of faith, family, and service that carries over into every client relationship.

Together, they have three children, four grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren — with another grandson on the way as their son, Taylor, and daughter-in-love, Cady, prepare to welcome their first child.

Before joining Karen in real estate, Steve served as Mayor of Gadsden, Alabama, for 28 years. Today, he brings that same heart for people and community to the real estate world alongside Karen.

Steve and Karen are active members of Gulf Shores Methodist Church, where Steve has served on the Parish Council and as president of the Gulf Shores Men’s Group for eight years. He also teaches their beloved Wesleyan Sunday School class. Karen enjoys volunteering at Re-Sale Heaven Thrift Store.

When they're not helping clients, you’ll likely find them outdoors — Karen landscaping, Steve tending his garden, or both of them enjoying a day of fishing or relaxing with their toes in the sand. They also appreciate staying active at the Bodenhamer Center, taking advantage of its many amenities.

This year marks 10 wonderful years with Bellator Real Estate — and The Means Team is as committed as ever to serving the Gulf Coast with experience, integrity, and heart.
